Acting for Camera

New Class | Saturdays 10am – 1pm

An intensive course which fully explores the application of skills and techniques required for preparing, rehearsing and performing scenes for film and television.

Actors will develop their own daily voice, body and accent warm up drills.

Thorough script analysis will be explored to assist the actor in preparing useful information with the challenges of preparing scene work and creating a character.

Actors will apply and extend existing techniques or develop specific skills for the development of a professional practice model.

Camera technique will be explored in a studio environment, identifying the differences between auditioning for camera and acting on set. Actors will learn how to maximize audition opportunities as well as work professionally and magnificently on set.

Term Dates

Our Acting for Screen course is on offer in each of our six terms. Our 2019 Term Dates are as follows:

Term 5 | 21st September – 26th October
Term 6 | 2nd November – 7th December


Each term runs for 6 weeks. One class per week, 3 hours in duration. 6 classes in total.

All classes require a minimum of 5 students enrolled per term to go ahead.

There are no refunds or transfers to other courses.

All courses are non refundable, unless the class has less than 5 students, in which case you may receive a refund or credit for another course.
